Mr. Memu showed me warmth and affection from the first moment I saw him at the Chesapeake Animal Bureau. He called to me and said he wanted me to take him (and his sister) home. I had gone there looking for a dog and I came home with two cats. How did he do that to me? He was a remarkable animal. He would come to me when I called him. He would magically appear as I drove up the driveway. He would argue when I would tell him to get up or go away. He followed me around like a dog. He just loved his Daddy and that's all he ever wanted to do. God knows, I'll miss him. Mr. Memu was not just a cat, he was my friend. I looked forward to picking him up everyday. His loyalty and affection were uncommon. I may never have another animal quite like him again.
